Burcham Hills

The Burcham Hills project added a 10,000-square-foot expansion to the Health and Rehabilitation Center. The first floor houses a new Physical Therapy Suite designed to support patients recovering from injury using real-world training environments like stairs, ramps, floor transitions, and item retrieval. It also includes a fully outfitted apartment where patients can practice daily living tasks such as cooking, making beds, opening curtains, and navigating home furnishings to build independence.

The second and third floors feature identical living and dining spaces with expansive layouts and floor-to-ceiling windows that highlight views of the surrounding woods and hills. Each area includes a fireplace and warm wood finishes to create a residential feel, along with serving kitchens for efficient meal service. Walkout patios and balconies further extend the spaces outdoors, giving residents and visitors access to a more natural, relaxing setting.
